    Ok, problem is my welcome screen won't come on anymore. It's stuck on that "Classic option" although the welcome screen option is selected in the control panel. I think the cause of this problem is this "BootLoader" program I was tinkering with. It supposedly modifies the boot.ini file.

    My question is: How do I get my welcome screen back? And if I have to modify the boot.ini file, what should I change?

    Thx in advance.:)

    Try this, it may be related to you, and it may not (save it in a txt file has fix.vbs):

    On Error Resume Next

    Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    WshShell.RegDelete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GinaDLL"

    Message = "Your Windows Logon Screen is restored" & vbCR & vbCR
    Message = Message & "You may need to log off/log on, or" & vbCR
    Message = Message & "restart for the change to take effect."

    X = MsgBox(Message, vbOKOnly, "Done")
    Set WshShell = Nothing
