    Hi

    I've setup SUS1.1 SP1 on a Windows 2000 server /w SP4, but I'm having
trouble configuring the group policy for it.

    Microsoft.com says

    In the Group Polciy Editor.
    Computer Configuration
    Administrative Templates
    Windows Components
    Windows Update.

My problem is under the Windows Components level I do not have windows
update. SUS requires minimum on Windows 2000 SP3, so it has to work.

    Anyone got any ideas?
    TIA

    Found it.

Turns out I had to copy the relevant templates from a Windows XP machine and
import them into the Windows 2000 group policy.

Because I have windows 2000 workstations on the network too, I just created
a sub-Organisational Unit. One call XPDESKTOPS and one call 2KDESKTOPS.
