Windows 10, anyone?

  1. Those interested in taking it for a test drive should sign up with
    Mickey$oft;

    For obvious reasons, you shouldn't use this in a production environment -
    I'd suggest doing a virgin install on either a spare computer or a VM.

    Tried to sign up with Microshit for this 'golden opportunity'. But, the
    page won't load. Everybody's must be jumping at it.

    Dont have a Microshit account. Google's aready got enough of my private
    stuff. Now Microshit wants it as well.
    I feel so special! :)

    A foolish friend installed it on his Win 7 machine, no backups or any
    precautions. He reports it went fine and he loves the result.

    The 2nd word is the perfect descriptor of one who does such. As I learnt
    with W8 before it was released.
    Oh the joys of reformatting.

  8. I did it with OS/2 Warp many years ago and got given three full licences
    (one server and two workstation) for my troubles. I don't think Mickey$oft's
    going to be extending the same gratitude though.
