I have 602photo and Kodak Easy Photo, and MGI photsuites. I want to take an existing pic of my harley and layer it on to another photo, but I don't have the skills to do this.

What do you experts recommend or use to do this?

    Thanks for your help.

Well, to edit layers, it's hard if you taking a JPG or a photo of whatever file type. If you want to edit each layer, you have to create the layers.

So, if you want to cut your self out of a picture, you will need to use a free hand tool, most programs have this. Then paste your self onto another background, or do whatever you'd like with your creation.

The GIMP. I hear the new Windows version is very nice (though I've never used it on Windows). Most people will never use everything in Photoshop, and the GIMP has everything that most people ever would use in Photoshop.

Thanks for the replies, I'll keep playing around with what I have and may take a look at GIMP.

    Thanks,
