    What adds? ;)

All you need is to edit a few things - and no adds ^_^

Well, When I first started playing with HTML I used notepad to learn the basics. THen I tried Front page, and abandoned it FAST. I also tried Hot Metal years ago, and didn't like that either.

Downloaded Dreamweaver and Fireworks back in 3.0, and have been hooked ever since. Friendly, laid out in a way that makes sense, and just darn good software. Download it and you'll be hooked too. They havea free 30 day trial. www.macromedia.com

    Just my .02 worth.

C'mon, no one else uses the Gimp? It's the best image manipulation tool on the market for it's cost ;) . I actually like it better than Photoshop. You can write your own scripts! How cool is that?

I use notepad :D I don't see the advantages of using anything else. I'm too used to the ctrl-s alt-tab f5 key combo to review work done in notepad. I hate not being able to switch between the code pane and the preview pane with the keyboard in nearly all wysiwyg editors. I do admit that I have switched over to vs.net for my .net coding cuz keeping track of all the individual files for a single page is dizzying.

The only advantage to using something like Araneae is that it color codes certain syntaxes which makes reading code a lot easier.

Oh how different one can be..

I do my web sites 100% in Flash MX... but then flash is all I know :x

Except of corse for the graphics. Fireworks MX for that, you can't beat Macromedias ez 2 use programs.

Dreamweaver MX is better than 2k4, but both still use code that isn't w3c compliant, although it is VERY close.
