    Dreamweaver

I only know a few codes myself, but I try to learn the codes and write them down so I have to type them instead of copying and pasting so I learn them.

I use Adobe's Golive 6 for my personal site and Frontpage 2002 for sites I create for others because it's "brainless" and easily updatable. I also use Swish 2 for all my flash needs because my ego can't handle the Flash MX learning curve.

I wish though I new how to use Dreamweaver. Had I known I would have never started back then with Golive 4 and Pagemill.

    AceHTML ;)
So far, it is the best editor out there.

I tried Dreamweaver once and came to the conclusion that I really dislike WYSIWYG editors.

    tech from the last century

I only use notepad and ms paint, sometimes ms photo editor, although I rarely make my own graphics. I would use dreamweaver and all that other nifty stuff if I knew how to use those programs. Photoshop to me is just 5 million buttons. I lose all sense of direction when I use photoshop cuz I like pushing buttons!

Yes, frontpage does suck. I think most of it's code is only known to IE and not other browsers!

    That's true.

Anything done in Frontpage will only ever work in IE - in the other browsers - it looks like ....well, i don't know what it looks like :p

FP does suck but if ya think about it what other browser is there to worry about???.....nobody including myself cares about anyone on any other browser than IE....this coming from someone who uses galeon on linux almost exclusively.....AND I hate MS products.

I use frontpage mostly and now learning to use screem on linux.

That's why all professional looking sites are not done with WYSIWYG editors, they are hard coded by people who know HTML. In a few years Mozilla will be right up there with popularity with IE.

I use Araneae for an editor now. It's free and very light weight. I don't really like opera that much, I don't like the adds and I don't want to pay for a browser when I can get better browser for free from Mozilla.
