How much do you have to pay per gallon where you live?

Its currently $2.68(USD) here in Durango, CO, for the cheapest stuff, about $2.80 for the highest.

EDIT: Sorry for those that live out of the u.s., Im not really good with my conversions

Wow I am the cheapest so far here in Minnesota. I paid $2.49 just yesterday. :D

I agreee with you spike, $3 a gallon is in the near future. I don't think many Americans will change the way they drive until it hits about $5 a gallon.

Right now it's $2.59 for regular. Some places I can fine it for $2.53. I don't go out much and I live a mile away, so... I don't spend too much on gas.

My next purchase will be a hybrid.

Goodluck finding a hybrid. Every dealer near me has waiting list for people that want them. Since gas has gone back up there on such a high demand nation wide.60 miles to the gallon on highway wouldnt be bad, and if your a person who doesent us Air Conditioning i doubt you will see the pump much. The only question i wonder about a hybrid is how would you heat yourself in the winter since you get most of the heat from the engine??? In hybrid engines really only runs for AC.

I think for gas in germany its like close to 6 dollars but thats why they drive small cars, no trucks over there. Makes me wonder what gas is like in other countrys.

Ahh i'm to lazy to convert the exchange rate along with the litres to gallons. But here in Hamilton, Ont it is about 93-103 cents per litre, Canadian dollars of course too.

I heard that prices were supposed to go up because of that tropical strom near Flordia.

You know what is funny. In a year we are going to look back on this thread and think "Wow...I wish I could pay those prices now." :sigh

the cap is not for the retail price. its for the wholesale price. the cap actually might raise the retail price but its "suppose to" make everything more cost effective when everywhere else is selling it for $5 a gallon...
