    hey guys, me again

I need a new website, as I cant stay on geocites anymore
    SO, I'm thinking about names

    1 - filmsbynick.com
    2 - filmsbynick.co.uk
    3 - nickcummins.net (.com aint available)

I've narrowed it down to those domains, now, filmsbynick is my youtube name, so theres a memerable link there, but I also do photagphy, so nickcummins.net might be better, but i dunno

    opinions people?

    thanks

It's not that far of a stretch to go to a website called filmsbynick and see photography with the films.

I challenge you to find a website that has only videos and no pics.

I agree with Zeus, go with filmsbynick, even with photography.

Why not register both? Some registrars give discounting on multiple domain name purchases and you can point the 2nd DM to the primary.

I've been using DH for a year and am very very happy with them. If you do want to sign up with them, get a discount code, if they are still doing that discount thing. I got 2 years of hosting for the price of one... it's nice.

As for names, I prefer nickcummings.net, personally.

I wonder why dreamhost.net didnt work, and I was thinking 'wow, I really want to go with them' but I googled it, and its .com lol ;)

so I've been putting it off for AGES and I thought 'well, if I'm going to do it, DO IT NOW!' and I bought a site www.filmsbynick.com with the 555 discount code, had a bit of a panic when I saw how much it was, but then I realised that was in $ and not £ so its all good, just waiting for the dns to activate now, activate faster! now!

    thanks for the suggestions

I think you'll like the whole Flash movie converter & streaming thing DH has going on. I've used it a couple of times and it's terrific.

I liked that feature, and I thought it would be good to have, seeing as how I make films and stuff, kinda suits me. Theres a very simple clean website by an american film director, hes just a little older then me I think - www.camarcher.com I like his style of website, but I wont just rip it straight off, I think I'll make my own style

I couldn't watch the videos, but that is probably the stupid government computer's fault.
