Virus Problem!

On my brother's computer I've run into some problems. He seems to have a virus and a bunch of spyware. I'm going to post a Hijack This log for you guys to help me with. I tell him to stop looking at porn!! :/

One of the main problems is a memory and process hogging application call PING.exe which I currently am blocking with comodo firewall to make the computer usable. The computer was protected and running daily scans with AVG anti virus.

I'd recommend Avira as an alternative to Microsoft Security Essentials.

And I most definitely agree that AVG has turned into a monster that it didn't used to be. It's especially frustrating trying to uninstall it

 

Try using a reliable and effective AV tool (first and most important make sure that it is not a scam tool). you can download it to a removable driver and then put it into the infected PC. Then just start it, scan you PC and remove the infection. You can also do that manually, but it is risky.
