Hi I have PC Cillin Virus detector on my PC.
I do a Spyware scan and it finds the following.
    ADW_NEWNET.A

I click remove, but it always shows up again when I scan again.
What should I do, I am worried.
    Thanks

Search for a utility called LSPFIX (it's from cexx.org iirc)
    It will remove it.
You may have to deregister the dll - regsvr32 /u "full path to
    newdot???.d;;"

I'd also try booting windows in safe mode and try to scan/remove the
infected files. also these sites may help, they load up free virus scans in
Internet Explorer and have some capability at cleaning/removing infections.

I work in an Internet Helpdesk so I find these two sites pretty damn useful
for using on customer's machines, particularly those where a virus has
somehow killed the resident antivirus software.

If you simply delete the newdotnet files you will corrupt your Winsock2
stack. Your PC will be a paperweight.
