USB Network Adapter versus Router

  2. Is there the option of an ethernet modem rather than a usb one? You could
    then get a little hub/switch and plug a few computers into that.

    Nothing sloppy at all about it and it is quite reliable here. 4 PCs on a lan
    all sharing ADSL off a USB ADSL modem.
    Not in the least. It costs more and is more stuffing around. Far easier to
    set up static IPs and ICS really.

    Where on Earth do you get that from? Setting up ICS is VERY trivial.
