    Hi

When I try to open a document on the web, my f**in system wants me to save
the document first. I have tried and tried to find out where to turn this
off so I can open the doc - can anybody help me because i''m obviously
    getting frustrated about it !

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Neil

  2. If your talking about opening things like an Acrobat PDF, then you need
to reinstall the Browser Helper Object (BHO) for it.

If you used a Spyware tool, that tool may provide a way for you to
reverse the it's removal. Otherwise, you'll need to explain exactly what
you mean by opening a doc, from (presumably) Internet Explorer.

Yes - when I use IE and either click on a link to a doc or right click to
    open, I can't - I can only 'save as'.
