    Hi People

I have been trying to find a service manual on the satellite 2410 but to no
avail. Im tryingh to find out a few things about the system.
    1. Is the CPU upgradeble and is it soldered on the board or is it in a
socket form which can be flipped and snapped out.

    2. the Gforce graphics is that upgradeable or not?

i would be greatfull if anyone one could provide feedback . Also if
possible if any oine can direct me to a location where i can obtain a
    service manul for the 2410?

    regards
    Steve

I am pretty sure the CPU is upgradable, But finding mobile CPU's is
hard! a few pop up on US ebay from time to time.

The video as with most laptops is intergrated with the motherbaord,
Altho i read Toshiba were going to start making there video cards
modular and upgradable like dell inspirons.

Upgrading the video card on a laptop is really the next big thing in
laptops IMO, the big (Nvidia/ATI/Intel) companies are trying to
standardise on a videocard format for all laptops so we can go to our
local PC shop and buy a faster laptop video card off the shelf.
