    That takes a lot of work to find people official usernames for every game they play; I prefer using the buddy system intregrated in games. :)

    I would be worth downloading depending on the number of games you play. If all you play is Valve games then its a waste since Steam has a server browser and a friend's list.

    I use Xfire, as do the rest of my DoD clan.

    Unlike the friends system, this can be left on for a whole 48 hours and not disconnect you from teh server, nor does it have any problems signing in like Valve's steam friends network does.

    All in All, Xfire is better than the Steam friends network, and it's a quiet little programme that just sits on your taskbar hardly using any resources.
