except there's no evidence that it works on an iphone.

it mostly works on the ipad, but keyboards are not officially supported
and not all keyboards work (see macintouch comments).

    In nospam
A quick search shows a number of folks who either know or claim to know
that the camera connection kit WILL support USB keyboards (and other USB
devices) on the iPhone (and iPod Touch) with OS4.

There have been a few foldable keyboards, but you could always get one of
those spill-proof, flexible "roll-up" keyboards instead ... they even come
in pink for girls and blue for boys. ;-)

Wow, great price! I'm using the Duraflex by Prestige that's made for the
medical/industrial use on my Nokia N800 Linux tablets and sometimes the
    Netbook, just for fun....

The only thing that won't roll is the little box over the 10-key pad where
the USB cable comes out on it. The keyboard layout is very PC standard
with all the Win keys, even the arrow keys are a big round pad of them
right where they should be so there's no learning curve to type on it.
They rubber keys have a nice tactile feel for touch typing and the contacts
are very positive with the tactile "click" feel the keys make.

Can't go wrong for $3.99, even if the keys are in kind of a crazy pattern.
