is it possible?
I actually did use firefox, but my computer was just reformatted, and I got rid of firefox because I've never liked how the bookmarks are html saved and not file saved.
Rocket, it's coming very soon. It works much better than Firefox as well. I'm sure you can find the beta out there, somewhere...
It works quite well. There are a bit of bugs, but that's to be expected in beta 1. I haven't heard much on beta 2. I really like how they have implemented the tabbed browsing.
I've been playing around with it for a while now. I quite like it. The arrangement of various items is slightly strange, but It's different, and slightly refreshing. I like the new icon, it reminds me of the older ones. The tabbed browsing is pretty nice, I like how the new tab button is always right there. There are also some cool choices in the advanced tools menu. But the greatest thing about this beta is the way it shows rss feeds. Very nice. I would like to see a little more customizability; toolbar placement, icon size, etc. Also, it seems a little harsh on lower resolutions. Can I post a link to download it?
Check out our review section. @Ovid, the IE icon you see now is not the actual icon. The new IE icon is different, the swish is orange.
ONE MORE QUESTION: is there a way to delete the addresses that pop up in IE when you type something in or click the down arrow in the address bar?
Other than clearing the history there is the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > Typed Urls DO NOTE!: Once that you have deleted a line you may want to renumber the other lines or you will not have any addresses in the address bar, if you only wanted to delete one url.
