Sounds Like Buyer's Remorse To Me

Discussion in 'iPad' started by Bradley K. Sherman, Apr 4, 2010.

  1. So, the revolution is a shiny screen that automagically tells you to
connect to iTunes, and which might be able to make it most of the way
through _Gone With The Wind_ on one charge?

    Roll over, Edison.

eh? what gave you that idea? you can watch gone with the wind 4 times
on one charge, maybe even 5.

Gone With the Wind is only 236 minutes long, and the iPad can go 600
minutes on one charge, and others have reported it goes longer than 600,
so you could watch Gone With the Wind twice with a few cartoons thrown
in and still have charge left. The popcorn is extra.

  4. Just reading the reports in this group. I'm sure someone will
post something insanely brilliant any minute now. Maybe even
you? Are you interacting with this newsgroup with your iPad?

  6. I don't think buyer's remorse means what you think it does.

Oh dear. Yet another anti-Apple moron who just HAS to post in the iPad
    newsgroup. :-\

Personally I can't see why anyone would even want to watch "Gone With the
Wind" even if the iPad did only last that long (which is doesn't, it lasts
    longer).

  12. It lasts longer *today*, in about six months you'll be lucky to be
able to get through _Dancing With The Stars_, or whatever it
is that fits your five-minute attention span.

In six months, you'll be eating those words, assuming that you won't be
denying that you ever wrote them.

In six months, I hope some of you will be posting stories about
what you're actually *doing with your iPads* that is new and
exciting rather than using an actual computer to respond to my
    messages.

I'm sure that it will be much less than six months. But why would you even
be here to read those messages? You don't like the iPad, and will not buy
one, so why spend any time in a newsgroup designed for the iPad? Unless
    you're a troll, that is.

The iPad is a bigger iPod Touch like a PC is a bigger HP or TI calculator.

Either you don't understand analogies, or you're under the delusion that a
PC is just a bigger calculator.

I have no idea what you're on about. You're the one who introduced
all of the nouns, other than "iPad", in the above.

Why not post something good about the iPad, rather than falling
down a rabbit hole of your own construction?
