See I record vocals onto my computer using this card, a mic and adobe audition. I was giving a program to check the latency on the card but it freezes up everytime i use it. i need to know the latency because when recording my mix is all messed up and off time and beat. I have to do alot of cuttin and pasting to get the vocals to go where they are supposed to. if anyone has any knowledge on it that would be awsome!

thanks guys your help in the past has been great too..

By the way I am upgrading the card but that won't be happenin for a while...

Ok, first what are you recording into? most programs that I have worked with have latency adjustments built into them.

Do you have the same problems when recording in 16 bit?

If your software supports it you may want to try ASIO drivers, most consumer cards won't have them but there is a free, sort of all encompasing verison here.

Well, look in setup -> audio card or something like that and see if you can adjust the latency, otherwise try the ASIO drivers.

I'm not sure, I have not experianced problems with balanced mic's before. Are there any problems in other programs?

Let us know how it went, if it didn't work maybe we can figure it out.
