First and foremost let me introduce myself, my name is Ken and my friends/family call me the Boogeyman. I'm from Mcallen, TX and I tend to travel quite a bit, I have a special problem that will hopefully challenge most members here and may or may not be solved. My problem is as follows: I do quite a bit of traveling for numerous reasons, being a techie, i've been hired by a small business as an IT consultant. A family living just across the border in a city called Reynosa owns about 500 arcade/slots machines, they have slots machines all over the surrounding cities both in the US and Mexico. The owner said he heard i had a good reputation for fixing computers, he said he wanted me help him fix some of his arcade machines which are made up of computers and arcade type controllers. So far i've been able to fix anything he could throw at me, til i got what he calls a 4-in-1 machine. This arcade machine was custom made by some tech-head in Mexico who put all kinds of restrictions in it, i've been working on it for 2 days now and haven't been able to get it. I found Deep Freeze, Security Administrator, Acronis True-image and a TrueCrypt on it. I've been able to forcefully delete Deep Freeze and Security Admin which allows me to make changes to the software, but i've got another problem. Whenever i try to change the HDD it'll lock up and ask for a serial key, just like a trial-program would, i would like to post more detailed information but i'm afraid this post is already wayyy too long and I don't know if breaking into a custom-built arcade machine is allowed in this forum. Sorry for the long post and if anything i've said is offensive or against the rules, any help or insight into this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would suggest contacting the tech-head in Mexico. TruCrypt is the good stuff for keeping peoples noses out where they shouldn't be, or just causing aggravation when another tech needs to lend a hand. So long as what you are doing is not illegal you can post it here.

Right now TrueCrypt is the standard in personal encryption. It is near impossible to get past without formatting the drive.

Alright guys sorry for taking so long on replying, what happened is I decided to take the weekend off and start fresh on Monday. So i've finally broken the tech's system, I had to go through Deep Freeze, TrueCrypt, Security Administrator AND reprogram all of his custom-made .exe files. It turns out that the serial key and Hardware ID was being generated by a custom-made program that was written in VS2005 and only the techie had the "keygen" so to speak, said serial key was also the encryption key by the way. Don't ask me how he did it cause I haven't a clue, I was able to mount the encrypted partition and extract all data, then I had to figure out how he was able to mount a virtual partition and assign drive letter B to it. Turns out he was using the subst command in his .exe program, long story short, it was a real pain in the butt. I had to uninstall Deep Freeze and Security Admin then unlock TrueCrypt, mount the partitions and copy the data and last but not least, write a .bat file that would open all of my programs during startup and remap all of the keys for the arcade machine using Macro Express. Thanks for your help guys but it seems it was only a matter of time. :)
