Shuffle when large music selection ?

    I have over 700 songs on my iphone. I just basically coopy the whole
    music library. I just "shuffle" the whole kit and kaboodle when
    listening to music.

    However, I am noticing that music from a few albums (where I have the
    whole album loaded) tends to come back very frequently (especially for
    music I am not in the mood to listen to at that moment) while other
    songs just don't play at all or play very seldom.

    Does the iphone limit its shuffle to say the first 512 or 256 songs ?


    More importantly, is it possible to create a playlist on itunes which
    includes everything EXCEPT specific stuff ? Does this translate to the
    iphone ?

    Nope. You are simply perceiving patterns int he random stream that do not
    exist.
    Yes. Use two playlists. One is "crap I don't want to hear" the other is
    "song not in playlist 'crap I don't want to hear'"
