    Anyone tried Quake Live yet?

After spending ages in the queue only to find I had to install a plugin and queue again it's actually a pretty good representation of Q3A and runs very nicely. Of course I was up till nearly 2am on a school night playing it but I can recommend it nonetheless.

Was playing it this AM around 6:30 when there was still a queue albeit only 28. It is very good, remarkable actually how it runs purely as a addon to the web browser. I did find though, same as nearly all 1st person shooters I've played online, that there are a few players (saddos) who know the levels intimately and alway get the powerups and armour first. Also the levels are too small for 16-18 players and it is just spawn die spawn die. Saying that I am now number 726 in queue (from 2800) so gotta go provide more cannon fodder!

Had a crack at this tonight, no queues though, just straight on. It is amazing to think this is a browser game. It is soooooo fast, highly recommended.
