Just recently Java popups have stopped working for me on a lot of sites when
    using IE.

Eg. http://one-summer.tv83.net/photos.htm (my own site), or
    www.realestate.com.au.

Having experimented with Norton Internet security it appears it is Norton
Personal Firewall causing the problem, but for the life of me I can't find a
setting in there I can change to allow the popups. Any thoughts? I've had
Norton for ages, but it's only recently started causing this problem.

nb. Firefox warns that Norton may block popups but in fact it can open them
ok, I have Google popup blocker turned off for these sites, and turning
Norton off fixes the problem (But I want to leave Norton on!)

    TIA, Caitlin

The only thing I can see in NIS that could be your problem
is Script Blocking, Go to Options / System / Script Blocking.
I have mine set to "ask me what to do". The other setting is to
    block all scripts.
It does prompt me regarding some sites that have no malicious
    content at all.

  3. I dont have NIS and not sure how its setting are
but try looking for a setting concerning Java or
JavaScripting and see how that is.
