Outlook Express 6 Can't Download Mail

    Me mum's WinXP computer can't download email from Frontier anymore. It times out the server and gives the error:

    "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'username@frontier.com', Server: 'pop3.frontier.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

    I checked with Frontier's support page and went through their instructions for configuring OE to their mail system. Everything is correct in the settings. Then I temporarily disabled the antivirus (Avast Free Edition). That didn't help either. Not sure what to try next...
