Q: What has Tony Abbott promised Murdoch?
A: A broadband network that will be so slow as to offer no competition to his pay TV interests.
Mwah ha ha ha !!! Murdochs evil plan is working'
Murdoch used his evil power to get Abbott elected.
Then Murdoch set in motion the destruction of the NBN.
Now all Murdoch has to do is get his Minions to convince Australia that the ABC must go.
Nothing must stand in the way of Foxtel and Newscorp.
Australia will soon be Murdochs !!!

The largest factor in the deterioration of the Australian budget was a cash payout of $882 million to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation.

Murdoch blows our budget then tweets that Australians are "sick of public sector workers & phony welfare scroungers sucking life out of economy"

IF 100,000 PEOPLE FROM MARCH IN MARCH CANCELLED THEIR FOXTEL
MURDOCH WOULD LOSE $10,000,000 A MONTH

A secret unit within Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation promoted a wave
of high-tech piracy in Australia that damaged Austar, Optus and Foxtel
at a time when News was moving to take control of the Australian pay
    TV industry.

The piracy cost the Australian pay TV companies up to $50 million a
year and helped cripple the finances of Austar, which Foxtel is now in
    the process of acquiring.

Stop crawling up Abbott's pommy arse.
Listen to a Australian PM if you don't believe me.
    http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/content/2013/s3820576.htm
The second point is this: I have not said anything about Mr Murdoch
doing X, Y and Z. What I've said is he owns 70 per cent of the print
media in the company - fact one. Fact two, day one of the campaign,
through his principal masthead in Australia, they say "This government
must go". Thirdly he says through his own direct statements that he
wants Mr Abbott to replace me as Prime Minister. That's fine. That's
his democratic right. It's a free country. But the question that I've
posed through this is simply as follows: what is underneath all this?
Is it to do with the National Broadband Network representing a
commercial threat to Foxtel? I've seen some commentary on that, and
I've only just been looking back on the files today and discovered
that in fact Mr Abbott's NBN policy was launched at the Fox Studios
here in Sydney. I would like to hear some answers as to what
discussions Mr Abbott may have had with Mr Murdoch on the future of
    Australia's National Broadband Network.

    Because of Labor:
    * Australia is currently paying $1 billion a month in interest;
    * Australia would have the fastest growth in *spending* and 3rd fastest
    growth in net *debt* of 17 countries profiled by the IMF;
    * As a result, without action, Australia’s gross debt would rise to $667

    1. Six hundred thousand more unemployed
    2. Three fewer car manufacturers (3 minus 3 equals zero)
    3. A decimated aluminium industry
    4. Doubled electricity costs due to RETs
    5. Quarter of a million immigrants without *any* new infrasructure
    6. Fourteen thousand plus pages of legislation.
    7. Thousands of words of abuse
    8. Four deceased apprentices
    9. One thousand two hundred drowned asylum seekers
    10. A handbag with an affinity for small Asian women
    11. A world's greatest treasurer
    12. Three huge promises (Gonski, NDIS and health)
    13. Cancellation of half of the "$500b investment pipeline"
    14. Another stolen generation of Aboriginal kids
    15. 1,000 asylum seeker kids in detention
    16. 50,000 unwanted, unqualified visa cheats.
    17. Two fraud artists - an MP and an ALP national president

    18. One paedophile. One convicted, that is.
    19. A former rape suspect. Insufficient evidence.

been funny if it wasn't serious

$5.06 million is what treasury estimates it will cost services stations in
red tape and compliance costs for Abbott's new petrol tax. Seems even if we
want to be pedantic and say this isn't a tax increase Abbott's promise of
not increasing tariffs has been broken.

"While the incremental inflation adjustments will raise an expected $167
million from motorists by November next year, little-appreciated new
compliance costs for service stations are calculated at $5.06 million
    according to Treasury estimates.

A two-party system gives the voter only one more choice than North Korea.

In a democracy of course you always get a choice
Do you want to be governed by the red or by the blue?
    it's entirely up to you!
Do you want to be patronized or condescended to, by liars or by crooks? You get to choose.
Would you prefer your fundamental values to be insulted or ignored by con-men or by charlatans?
In short do you want your influence to be zero or nil
and when would you like to be listened to, never or not at all, it's your choice
Do you want, some more choices.
    take-it-or-leave-it
Now there's a real choice I'd be happy with any kind of representation wouldn't you
I would like to see a new government and part of me doesn't give a
damn who's in it as long as it doesn't include anybody from the Labor, Liberal or
Green party organizations that show themselves to be without shame or principle

All spineless and authoritarian both cowardly and war mongering at the same time
we have proportional voting in Australia USE IT

Put Labor, Liberal and Green party last on your Ballot choose your
independant or small parties first then donkey vote down to those last
on your ballot. Stops the majors getting OVER $2.50 a 1st preferance vote

    Sounds like utter bullshit.

The government today rushed into Parliament its new data retention
