OT DAB radio

Discussion in 'Computing' started by The Old Bloke, Jan 25, 2015.

  1. I thought it would be simple to find such an item.

    I need a DAB-type radio for my bedside. That's easy, but I
particularly I want one that can record (to SD, internal memory,
anything). And not too expensive, of course

    Can anyone advise?

    Regards

    Doug,

recently went through similar search myself (seeking DAB bedside radio WITH
multiple preset station buttons, without record facility). Found that Dick
Smith, JB hifi, Good Guys, Big W & Kmart had NONE, but Harvey Norman did
    provide a choice of brands.

I chose Panasonic with 20 presets (10 each DAB & FM) at $99.

  3. Thanks, but I want one that can record. I have found several, but
most are for modular setups, many are no longer made, and others have
    very poor reviews.

    Oh well ....

TEAC I call "Total East Asian Crap"
But probably all made in China
My quirk is I like/prefer Australian power points
poms have same voltage but power plugs won't fit
None I saw seemed cheap all over $200 new

Trivially easy to get an adapter or just
cut off the plug and put a local one on.
