    Hiya people of all knowledge of computers,
    I got my 6000 laptop the other day (thanx to all who helped with that :bow: ) and now basically trying to get used to it.
    Im using Ashampoo Audio rip n burn to take tracks off my music cd's and put them onto my computer but my options are///....ogg vorbis, wav or flac.
    I have chosen wav as I know this is standard full size file.
    How would i change them into mps to make them smaller as id like to put alot of my collection on my harddrive to use like a juke box.
    Or maybe you could point me in the direction of a website or someone that could explain this,,,im a girl thats all new to this and any help is greatly appreciated.
    thanx :thumb:

    Ah yes, I think you need to extract lame_enc.dll and possibly lame.exe to the audigrabber directory. You can put the Dll in the windows/system32 directory and do a regsvr32 on it to make it available to all programs but I cant remember the exact syntax right now.
    I think it's as simple as start -> run >- cmd -> regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\lame_enc.dll

    CDex and EAC are both great alternatives though.
