The place I am working at uses Nortons on all of its computers. On several of the computers, there is an anoying error message on bootup. Navapw32.exe is not a valid win32 application. What is the solution to this???

Go into msconfig and make sure that its not set to run at start up, or better yet, reinstall. It sounds like maybe the program is fubared and is crashing on start up. But if the app still works, just stop that one program from loading.

I went into msconfig and unchecked that file in startup. Its weird nortons still loads up, and the error is gone. I thought nortons wouldnt load up, when its unchecked. Anyway thanks alot man :) .

More than likely thats the automatic update program, or even a back ground installer that got stuck from when it was first installed.

If this is Norton Copr edition and your not a tech at this business you should really contact the Net Admin or the NAV admin about this issue...
