The mini starts at 16GB, not 8GB. The mini tops-out at 64GB, the
other devices top out at 16GB.

The fire is also extremely limited in what it can do. It is a kindle
much more than it is a full tablet.

I completely disagree with this. I don't think there is any reason for
the prices to depend on each other in anyway. They are not the same
products. They are not related products.

5. No, the iPod touch is 32GB and very small. It runs iPhone applications.
The iPad mini s nearly 8" (so double the diagonal) and runs iPad apps.
The iPad mini runs iPhone applications too.
What do you mean by "comparable"? The amount of storage? BTW, no iPad
mini sells for $399. And all iPad minis are larger than all iPod Touches.

6. No, they wouldn't. The products are in no way related categories.
They both run iOS; they have essentially the same user interface, and the
iPad mini can run all the software that the iPod Touch runs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple cancelled the iPod line and renamed the
iPod Touch the iPad nano.

I'd remame the lot...:

DaddiPad, MummiPad and BabiPad.©

"Quite good" doesn't cut it. Buyers want "excellent" and "works". ;-)

Not all buyers want "excellent"; if they did, they wouldn't be using
Windows on their computers. And they wouldn't be buying Chevys and Fords.

14. No. The iPod Touch is 16GB (old model), 32GB, or 64GB.
Oh, you meant more storage, not larger.

right now, being for 2 more days.

big deal.
you can *order* one.

it won't ship until next friday, at the earliest.

meanwhile, on monday, you can go into a store and walk out with a 32
gig nexus (after paying for it, of course).

Well, I have a Dodge, but all my computer stuff is Apple. And the car has
a normal outlet, so I can keep the iPad charged while I travel. My GPS is
a little Garmin gadget for hiking, though

Most are forced to use "what I can afford" ... which is an entirely
different concept to "want", which is what I said in the first place.
Michelle is just proving yet again that she has reading comprehension
issues.

20. And you are proving yet again that you are an asshole. If you actually
contributed anything worthwhile to these newsgroups, you would have some
redeeming qualities, but as it is, you're merely a worthless piece of trash.
