The mini starts at 16GB, not 8GB. The mini tops-out at 64GB, the
other devices top out at 16GB.

The fire is also extremely limited in what it can do. It is a kindle
much more than it is a full tablet.

iPad mini can run all the software that the iPod Touch runs.

Well, I have a Dodge, but all my computer stuff is Apple. And the car has
a normal outlet, so I can keep the iPad charged while I travel. My GPS is
a little Garmin gadget for hiking, though

 

Most are forced to use "what I can afford" ... which is an entirely
different concept to "want", which is what I said in the first place.
