Loads of spam has been getting through the filters recently, so I've switched to use TypePad's beta anti-spam filter to see if that works any better.

This should mean any spam posts are put in to a moderation queue when they are caught.

We'll test this over the next week and see if it works any better :)

    :lol2

Does the spam filter also look at the post count?

I'd have thought that these would be in the swear filter anyway, along with real swear words.

I don't know that those need to be filtered out, but they certainly could trigger a post into the moderation queue.

Maybe you are exempt from having posts put in the moderation queue since you are a moderator.

It's a clinical trial. This is going to be interesting.

It seems the spam filter is yet to be perfected. I mean if it was perfected then what would Zeus do?
