Hi, i have a question regarding making webpages with frontpage, that someone here may be able to answer. When i make a page then view it in a browser, the browsers bar right up the top will display something like whatever the first word on the page is, eg: 18, if the first thing i typed on the page was the date, 18/07/2009. How do I get that bar to display something like, MyPage, for instance? Any help much apprec.... --
I gather you are referring to the page title. You need to add a line to the head section of the page thusly - <title>This is the page title</title> "SHUT THE **** UP YOU DUMB ****!" - FlangesBum on learning the truth about Labour's economic capabilities.
Thanks! that sounds like what I want to do. So if I open the html to edit, will frontpage have already put this line in, or will I have to create a new line? I'll open it up & see! --
Just did that & yes it was already there to be changed! Too easy. Thank you very much, Dr. Sir etc etc. Much appreciated... --
Once you're done with FrontPage, you can try learning actual HTML. HTML pages are nothing but text. "SHUT THE **** UP YOU DUMB ****!" - FlangesBum on learning the truth about Labour's economic capabilities.
