May seem like a moot or dumb question but I would like to know....

    I have 3 old CPUs :

    1)AMD Duron 750 MHz (Socket-A)

2)Cyrix 750 MHz (Socket 370) (I have a Slocket adapter for this cpu, to
use with an Intel 440BX board, if that's
better than a Via chipset / board).

    3)Pentium II 450 MHz (Slot 1)

Which is the BEST, which is 2nd best, and which is worst?

Usage - internet surfing, email, OLD games (circa 1999)[with a GeForce 2 MX
400 video card], and MP3 storage.

Basically, I just need to know which CPU is fastest AND stable AND
    compatible with usage (above).

The Duron, then the Pentium II, and the poor old Cyrix last

    I forgot I also have a PIII 600 cpu.
    Where would that fit in?
(Thanks for all the reply so far!)

    I would go with
    1. PIII 600
    2. AMD Duron 750
    3. PII 450
    4. Cyrix

In my opinion, Cyrix is junk.
