I took the SIM card from my iPhone 4 and cut it to size and lightly
sanded the "back" side so it would fit in the iPhone 6. This worked,
but I wondered why I wasn't getting LTE.

A check at my cellco's site revealed that I had to have the "LTE nano
SIM card". Stopped at a mall and picked that up ($10). LTE is wicked
fast and using Siri ("Navigate Home") with Apple Maps was quite nice.
(The iOS 8 Map on the iPhone 6 is fantastic in look and very smooth).

Need to try it next with Google Maps.
