  1. Any out there with unlimited plans, free calls, no charge for back to
base alarm numbers (1300 x) and no charge for silent number and
    caller ID?

  4. SpinTel.

$69.95 unlimited with free calls except 1300 (alarm back to base), and
they also hit me up for caller id and silent number.

A snake was hit by a car
A woman picks him up, feeds him, and gets him back to his full state
    of health.
But then he bites her, injects her with his deadly venom.
On her death bed she asks, "After all I did, why me?"
The snake replies, "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up."

    Plenty of those.
    Some of those.
Don't know of any with that.
    Or either of those.

But are quite variable about who they are available to.
I'm nothing like extinct, and don't you forget it.

A hair's width under $80/month gives you unlimited downloads, unlimited
local & national calls, unlimited 13/1300 calls, unlimited mobile calls and
line rental. The only downside is that your 'phone line will be transferred
    to Optus.

  13. Thanks Bob, will check them out.

SpinTel are actually piggy backing on Optarse as well, but they
offered to switch me to Tel$tra (reason unknown and for a fee.)

What are back to base alarms??

  15. My home alarm (same would apply to business) which when triggered
dials back to the monitoring service with the alarm code.

Mine also "dials home" (or back to base - i.e. monitoring service)
every so often just to show that it is alive and well.
