I have been asked to get a laptop for someone that has itunes on their old laptop. I have never played about with itunes. How do i get the itunes (music) from the old laptop to the new one I am supplying? Is the music actually on the laptop or is it on an itunes server or something?

One more query they have is that they now have 2 ipods and wonder if both can be used on one laptop, I assume 2 different itunes accounts are needed for this though?

Any advice appreciated, I am an itunes noob!!:smash:

Music is in a folder on the laptop...named itunes
iTunes is supposed to be able to manage multiple ipods on the one account

You should be able to copy the itunes Music folder straight over, then re-import the music again. :) Just be sure that you copy the library file + all of the actual music files.
