Hi - first, I'm a non-expert. I work for an architecture firm that is currently archiving old work. We found some tape backups from 2000-2001 and I'm trying desperately to figure out how to read them.

If anyone could send me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I am happy to pay for help if it's complicated (but I'd like to DIY it rather than send to a national company). Details below...thank you in advance for any help you could give me.

    I have 2 types of mini-cartridges,
    1. 5 tapes: SONY QW 3080XLF QIC-WIDE 3080 Standard mini data cartridge (2GB Native/4GB Compressed)
    2. 3 tapes: HP dds-4 data cartridge C5718A (40GB)

I was told that Yosemite software was used. Tapes are in pristine condition. We just want to dump all data into one folder, to be accessed by PC or MAC.
