how to open an .abk file

    someone has sent me a file and it is a .abk file, i don't seem to be
    able to open it.

    it is an attachment in hotmail.

    It's probably an appointment book file, so I guess similar to the 'business
    card' attachment. Look at it in notepad, it's probably plain text (or at
    least readable enough to get the gist).

    i'll look at that i forgot to mention this person indicated that they
    where sending a picture file.

    i get warning window:

    'this file has not been fully loaded etc.,. etc.,., use option "filter
    binary codes" next time you load it'

    all double dutch to me i afraid.

    sounds like a Corel Draw Automatic Backup extension. Get em to send the
    correct file by saving the picture properly in Corel first.

    Abk files

    .abk files are chess move books, usually opening moves. If you want to know what's inside, then install Arena Chess GUI, look for the opening books setting and click on select book and then click this file....
