Copy all your nessisary stuff to CD, then reformat your PC.

Do you keep your Virus Defintions up to date and your NAV engines? That virus is nasty. Do what S Walch suggested.

That's why you have been having such issues in your other 2 posts about uninstalling, and saving settings.

Just make sure when you put your data on a CD or whatever you use, before you copy it over to your clean PC, make sure the data is clean too.

    Wait Wait.

Im not sure if I have it or not now.
I panicked when i went to "Find" and found files called Magistr later to realize they were temporary internet files and were gone after i cleared cookies and such..
I did all the "removal" stuff anyways but the problem is not fixed..so now i dont think i ever had that virus..

Removing the infected files, etc.. does not always fix the damage. I would format and reinstall like it has been suggested before.

No what im saying is i dont think i ever had the virus..

The files called "magistr" that i found came from that Symantec websight that tells you how to fix it..

So..now i dont know what the problem is..

    What is re-formatting?

Re-formatting means that you format your drive and then you install your files again. It does still sound like you have a virus from your past problems that you still experience. :(

Yep, best thing to do is just blow your current install away and reinstall.
