Well it is spring which means once again I am on a health kick for a couple of weeks trying to lose weight before I give up and convince myself I am happy being fat. It is part of my spring routine, I look forward to it every year.

Well someone asked me about my eating habits, and I responded with I eat reasonably healthy all year long but moreso when trying to be healthy. One thing that was suggested was to keep track of food that I eat and count calories. Now I have never been any good at counting calories so I was suggested a website that helps.

www.fitday.com for those of you interested in that sort of thing. It is a really cool free website that helps you track food eaten and calories burned during the day to see if you are on your way to your goal. It gets to the point that you can calculate how many calories you burned doing practically anything. It has a huge database of food that is fairly accurate and if you have something that isn't listed you can add it and all of the nutrient info from the label one time and save it for future use. Anyone into tracking these things I highly recommend this website.

Anyway, so I sat down and plugged in everything I have eaten since Friday.

I eat almost 6,000 calories a day. :shock

I think I found the 1st thing I need to work on.

That's an interesting site, I might try seeing how many calories I eat over the course of a week as I've never added it up.

Good luck with improving your fitness, it can be done :D

Sheesh....6000 calories a day? With my metabolism, that's what I need to survive.

I wish I could put on more weight Zeus.

At 6 foot 1" and roughly 11 and a half stones I could do with getting to about 13 but can't seem to no matter what I eat.

I have a **** good memory.... it helped get so many people out of so many sticky situations! I'm also a great navigator as well. came in handy when the GPS would die LOL. My tech skill is amazing cause I figure stuff out so quick.
