Three cheers for the WWW :D

A few months ago I tried to hunt down my first webpage from 1996, but it looks like it's long gone - unless I can find a floppy backup somewhere in the loft at my parents house!

same here, but I got an e-mail a while ago from Yahoo saying something like 'blegh, we're fed up of keeping all these old Geocities sites up, so we're gonna delete them all, oh, if you want we can transfer them to our 9.99 tariff' - not the precise content, but it gives the gist.

My first site was about my Work Experience at the local College library looking after the computers. Made a brilliant change from schoolwork.

EDIT: Found some scraps of whats on the archive.org database, very bitty, but worth a nostalgic look for your own stuff. http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
