I need help getting this thing ...what ever it is off my PC.
It is called Shopper Reports and it shows up on all my browsers as a pop up on the left coulum of Fire Fox, Google Chrome and IE. It say to uninstall it to go to the control Panel and use the Add remove tool. Well it is in the list but when you try to do it it says it is already uninstalled and ask if you want to remove it from the list. I said no and here I am to find out how to remove the darn thing.

Just once I would like to get my hands on the throat of one of these spammers. I would pop there eyes out I would squeeze so hard.

Can you help me get rid of this thing please.

I ran exterminate first and found over 300 items ...that freaked me out so then I ran malwarebytes. malwarebytes got me down to 4 items and I found them manually deleted them then ran exterminate again and they were all gone.

Thanks I think it is fixed....unless it can reinstall it's self.
How did I get it in the first place? Was it something that I did or will it just find me and do it on it's own?

You possibly went to a website that you wouldn't normally have visited and the malware would have been loaded from there. Possibly from a phishing attempt?

It's for this reason that you need a good soild Anti-virus platform that not only scans the hard drive but scans all emails and web pages that you visit.
