Hi - We have a pc, Dell optiplex 760. We're running Window XP Professional. Yesterday, my daughter played a game, and suddenly, all my microsoft office suite files, I-tunes, Adobe Reader, etc. have a lnk. extension, and will not open. I ran Norton anti-virus scans - We did have one, and it was eliminated (didn't get the name of it). I've tried everything I can think of, (did a file restore, registry cleanup and just generally tried anything I could think of) and can't change the extension on these files. They're still there, just inaccessible to someone of my poor knowledge. All my documents are still fine - it seems to be operating systems. Can anyone give me some insight. or tell me what to do? Thanks. Beth
