Hey guys. Been having an issue with my 3rd gen iPod touch for a little while now. For whatever reason, I'm unable to sync it with itunes. It won't even show up. I've spent a couple weeks trying to figure out what's going on...but I've kind of given up on that. Aside from that, it works perfectly. My question is this. Is there a way to enable itunes wifi sync without my device being connected? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

So far as I know, you can only enable wifi sync for the iPod if it shows up on iTunes when you connect it via USB and can access the summary page.

That's what I've seen up to this point. I've poked around a bit tho in the registry on my computer, and in the files on my ipod...and have found a couple things relating to WiFi sync. It kind of seems like there would be some way to tweak the right files to turn it on. Keep in mind tho, my knowledge of such things is very limited and this is just conjecture.
