    You are wrong, as always.
It is a fact that the vast bulk of people get a better
result with digital TV than they had with analog TV
and don’t need to get Pay TV to get a viable TV service.

Something has to provide the electricity when the sun
don’t shine and when you have that, there isnt any point
in not using that when the sun does shine, fuckwit.
Just another of your pathetic little pig ignorant fantasys.

    Nope, you are.
No one ever said you did. The attributions clearly say that I said that.
More fool you given that coal fired power stations put a
LOT more radioactivity into the atmosphere than nukes do,
basically because of the radioactivity in the coal they burn.

And that approach is completely fucking stupid and very expensive indeed.
Like hell it does given the insane cost of the batterys.
Ours mostly don’t pay anything like that.
That’s not true of the infrastructure cost to allow them to supply the
    mains.
But they do have to pay for the reconfiguring
of the network that is necessary when there are
that many solar systems inputting to the grid.
    Nope, they have real costs.
Even sillier than you usually manage.

Those arent viable quotes, they are just scams.
Show us the quotes. That is going to be lead acid batterys
with nothing like the capacity that system actually needs.
You've fucked that up completely too.

The network charges pay for 'workers' to reconfigure the network
so it can handle a substantial percentage of solar equipped houses.
That doesn’t provide anything like enough battery capacity
to allow you to run the house independently of the mains.

And I know that because a mate of mine has a system
like that. But he has only been able to do that by using
batterys that he got for peanuts, used, out of telephone
exchanges when they were replaced there.

And he STILL doesn’t get to do the heating and cooling that way.

That's providing things don't go pearshaped with the nuclear power station.

    Quite so! :)

everyone knows there can be problems with digital reception just as
    there were with analog reception

of course digital tv is better than analog. anyone knows that
pity about those who do then. and I'm not saying that ppl have to get
pay tv to get digital reception, but many ppl find it a viable solution
to fixing any digital tv reception problems, especially since it has the
added advantage of providing the pay tv channels as well. and now that
foxtel is cheaper it's an even better option.

he should stick to helping ppl with their computer problems, since he

Particularly as many saw a movement from VHF to UHF
at the same time as the analog TV system was turned off.

Obviously those with only VHF antennas will have a problem.

So, the sun stops shining at night? And then starts shining again the
next morning? Who turns it off and on?

solar feeding batteries will be the way of the future I suspect
I get 70 cents for input but pay only 25.76 cents for usage, but if I
increase solar capacity, I revert to the current input rate of around 13
    cents

That is nothing like what I just said.
    That is their problem.
Still much more expensive than fixing the problem with digital TV.
