Dell is Vostro 3750 running Windows 7 Pro. Brand new. Power up,
complete setup, connect to network, allow all MS Updates to complete.

Connect a Kensington dock, part number K33951 model number M01065. This
installs its own drivers, as expected, then screen goes black. After
    several seconds, BSOD with:

    Stop 0x00000116
    igdkmd64.sys

Googling shows several instances of a similar problem, but no resolution.

An earlier model Dell Vostro 3700 (new January 2011) works correctly
with the same dock. Dell has NVIDIA Geforce GT 330M, 1GB Graphics, and
    Displaylink driver version 5.5.29055.0

The new Vostro 3750 has NVIDIA Geforce GT 525M with 1GB VRAM

Anybody seen this, or have a resolution?

I've tried downloading the newer driver (version 5.2.24173.0)for the
dock, from "Displaylink" - this does not crash with BSOD but it does not
work correctly - it fails to drive the monitor connected to the dock.

    TIA

And in answer to my own post:

Download "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows*" from
    http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php as suggested by
    Kensington Technical Support.

Remove all previous versions of s/w, install this - is DisplayLink core
    software version 6.1.35667.0

Connect dock. It wants to install version 5.2.24173.0 - allow it - it
completes - wants restart. Laptop shows Kensington device 5.2.24173.0
and both Displaylink Core Software version 6.1.35667.0 and Displaylink
    Graphics version 6.1.35667.0

Reboot - dock now works correctly.

    Hope this helps somebody.
