Just wondering if any of you had a certification(s) in anything or studing for one?

I am A+ cert. and am a MCP (Windows 2000 Pro). I am aiming to get my MCSA 2003 certification. You can go two routes, Messaging or Security. I think I'm going with messaging, I have a lot of interest in that.

Has anyone taken the Exchange 2003 cert? I have a trial from MS and just installed it on my Domain here. I'm still searching for some guides.

I took a book out of my local library on A+ Certification and knew 99% of what's in it, if that counts :lol . I'm too young to get certified, though, and even if I could I doubt it would do me any good. What's an IT company going to want with a 14 year old?

How does one get certified exactly, and how much does it cost?

You have to go to http://www.prometric.com/ and sign up for a test site in your area. Then you take a test that was created by MS or whatever your studing.

    /edit/

nm, found out on the site. thanks! :)

i dunno if it would be worth the buck for me, since i am not planning on a career in the IT industry... used to be, but not anymore.

still, if i could fork out the dough, i might still do it..

I don't know if they help out or not. Experience is the most important part. But when I study, I practice what I read on my network here which is good.
