The local bowling club have asked me to source them a cheap printer. I do not really keep in touch with printers, so am not sure what to get them.

I used to buy epson C42's for anyone that asked but they seem a bit thin on the ground these days.

It is only for printing minutes and the odd competition details, nothing fancy.

    Cheers.

A cheap laser would probably make sense rather than an inkjet. It might cost more to buy but it will pay for itself in consumables. If secondhand isn't a problem, you can get some real steals on HP Laserjets on ebay.

I agree, depending on their printing requirements/paper, a cheap laser either samsung or hp would be the best choice.

    Thanks folks.

Picked up an Epson last night with 8 inks for £40. I am thinking about getting a laser printer for myself now though! lol.
