What does everyone think about the BTX form factor from Intel? Would you recommend building these systems now instead of ATX or waiting to see if it will really catch on and replace ATX like some predict?

From what I have read about the BTX FF I like. Unfortunalty I have not seen many boards or cases that support this form factor, besides in Dell, HP, etc.

I am thinking about building a PC Home Theature system with Windows XP Multimedia Center. I would use the micro-BTX board and the smallest case I could find that support BTX.

I read about BTX when I was building my comp, but like SW I've not seen any mobo's that interest me. It sounds like a good design though..

Yeah...I don't think BTX is real prominant right now. I think in a few years maybe you will see more of it. I would stick with ATX.

I think that is good advice. Maybe there will be a good price drop on ATX stuff if BTX becomes the next cool thing to have..............
