Backup Programs to Use?

I'm still having some problems with my current backup program "Acronis
True Image Home v1012" - I have a hard time sometimes getting it to
work properly and it takes an awfully long time to backup.

I mainly just do a complete backup of all my folders/files on 3
partitions (C,D,E). I don't do a lot of Disk Imaging, and the other
stuff that is available in the program - just focus on folders/files.

What would be the best and simple program for that. Would appreciate
    any suggestions.

For data, I've sunk to using a file-copy utility called
SecondCopy. Works as advertised, even has the ability to FTP
    backups to another PC.

What I like most about it is the way it handles changed files. To
be brief, it's easy to identify/restore older versions of a given
file or, in the case of disaster, restore only the latest

"Sunk" bc there's nothing like a database-based backup utility
    which can spot corrupted/missing files.
