I saw an article on the web today that claimed the Asus A7N8X deluxe has
no IDE controller. Anyone know if you need an IDE controller card for this
    mobo?

    Cheers,

  3. Misleading in the extreme (that's posh for "the web article was clearly a
    crock of shit").

You can always check these kind of 'facts' for real at the Asus website you
    know!

Is this just an issue with that motherboard, or all Nvidia based
    motherboards?

What kind of problems is there? i was thinking of changing to one of
these because my current motherboard gives no end of errors on the IDE
    channels.

  5. There's nothing wrong with the nVidia WHQL driver set when used with the
EPOX 8RDA+ motherboard - mine's been running stable 9and over clocked)
    for 9-10 months now.

I found it while looking on a friend's PC. I will try and find it again
    later today.

    Can't find it anywhere now.

Must have been imagining it - I've looked at reviews for quite a few mobos
over the last few days 8)
