Absolute beginner's CBT for learning Windows?

Discussion in 'DIY Computers' started by Trust No One®, Dec 6, 2003.

  1. I committed the cardinal sin of building a computer system for friend. An
absolute beginner who has no previous experience with computers or Windows
    (Me)

By committing this cardinal sin I've condemned myself to a possible lifetime
of training and on demand technical support :(

Can anyone recommend a beginners CBT which he can purchase and learn the
basics of computers / Windows (ME) at his own pace?

    Any suggestions/recommendations appreciated.

    Best Wishes,

If you are in Glasgow you can get a free disc from the libraries.
Probably be able to get one from any citizens advice bureau or possibly
your local library. Worst case is you could teach them!! :)

Pop into your local library,Adult Learning centre, Learn Direct and ask
about courses, theey are usualy free and you can choose when and how often
you learn. Fun to learn with others too.
